We have the pleasure of offering you an Oriental Dance Competition and an Open Stage where every artist, amateur or professional, of this discipline, will be able to offer your beautiful dance.

BELLY DANCE SOLO
We will stick to the different genres of Oriental Dance: Folklore, Baladi, Sharki, Shaabi, elements (fantasy and folklore), Tabla solo, etc. They can not be fusion or tribal. There will be no distinction of levels so all the applicants will enter the same category.
Registration:
To register you will have to follow the following steps:

Artistic name (in the case that you have it)

Brief description of your experience as a dancer.
2. Pay the registration fee (transfer or cash) to an account number that we will provide you (request via email to rakstenerife@gmail.com or via Facebook to Hiurma Bellydance).
3. Fee:
It will be 15€ per applicant. Free if you sign up for 4 workshops or Full Pack.
4. Be signed up for at least 1 workshop of the festival (Workshops)
5. Registration deadline until August 31.
Duration:
The performance will have a maximum duration of 3 minutes, both for the pre-selection and for the final, of those 3 minutes you will only have a maximum of 1 minute for your percussion solo.
A pre-selection test will be made to the participants in the event that there are over 8 entries to the contest, and will be held on a weekend prior to the festival (date to be confirmed).

Those people who can not attend the test will do it by sending an individual video with a choreography following the requirements already described and being a recent video. Only those participants who can not be found on the island during the pre-selection test will be able to do this video test, sending the video with a maximum of 7 days before the competition.
The results of the pre-selection will be communicated the day after the test.
Final:
For the final, an unprecedented choreography will be presented according to the requirements previously seen.

Criteria:
The members of the jury will qualify, according to their own criteria, the technique, expressiveness, stage presence, musicality, precision, creativity, etc. The choreographies presented must be their own, those who plagiarize some choreography will be disqualified.
